Research Focus:

Daylon is Assistant Professor in the department of Reproductive and Regenerative Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Daylon has focused his research on defining the molecular characteristics that distinguish unique cellular sub-populations during development, and using these parameters to isolate clinically useful cells and tissues from human pluripotent stem cells. His ongoing research aims to identify fundamental mechanisms involved in differentiation of cardiovascular and germ cells during embryogenesis, and leverage these insights toward treatment of cardiovascular disease and infertility.
